Tools of the trade

Colouring

when I colour I use pro-markers, because they have a thick and thin nib, the colour is good quality, they don't have annoying lines when you colour, and you can blend colours using the blend pen. My only criticism is they are expensive.

I've also heard copic markers are good to use, even maybe better than pro-markers? My advise is having a go and reading peoples reviews. Unfortunately the good pens are expensive, but they are worth it.

I would also suggest getting 2 different shades of the same colour, to shade it's quicker than layering, and gives a brilliant affect.

Pencils

I generally prefer using blue pencils for the guide lines, and drawing pencils for the final outline.

Fine liner

I don't really use fine liners unless I'm doing a busy scene to make the main characters stand out, and to confuse the reader.
